South African jazz singer Gloria Bosman passed away after a short illness. In this respect informs Washington Post.
According to his relatives, Bosman died in his home with his family. “Gloria devoted her life not only to her family, but also to music, loved and adored by many in South Africa and beyond,” the singer’s relatives said.
South Africa’s ruling party, the African National Congress, also paid tribute to the star, stating that local music would be poorer without him. “Gloria Bosman belongs to a generation of great female artists who refuse to succumb to the patriarchal stereotypes of a male-led industry. She was a fierce and ready-to-fight creative revolutionary,” Paretia said.
