According to the plot of the series, apocalypse has arisen in the world due to the spread of a fungus that infects people, forcing them to attack healthy citizens. Ellie is immune to the disease and should be a source of vaccines for humanity.
The post-apocalyptic drama stars Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. The series premiered on January 15.
