A Twitter user under the pseudonym @mrachpaul1793 talked about why he views Severus Snape and some other Hogwarts teachers as bad teachers.
“I’m rewatching Harry Potter and also interning as a teacher. I mean, Snape. Of course, he is a great potions master and my favorite is Persian, but he is not a teacher, just like many Hogwarts residents are not teachers, ”the girl wrote.
According to him, Severus Snape took the path of negative motivation when communicating with students, forcing them to learn with the help of fear. “The teacher’s task is to engage the student, because few (almost none) are interested in knowledge,” he said, noting that there are many techniques and technologies that make it possible to present the material in an interesting way.
One of the best teachers at Hogwarts was secretly considered Professor Remus Lupine, who practically taught students the Patronus spell to fight Dementors. Lupine, a Snape-like bogeyman in one of the lectures, dressed in Neville’s grandmother’s clothes. “It was funny but not pedagogical. But it’s as if at least one of the Hogwarts teachers had a pedagogical training,” said @mrachpaul1793.
