A very recent directorial shot of Louis Garrel, which was released almost simultaneously with his daughter’s debut. But if “Princess of the Ballet” is about children’s dreams, “With and without the Rules” is about adult hooliganism.
The main character, Abel (played by Garrel), learns that his 60-year-old mother, who works as a teacher in the colony, is going to marry one of his students. Not planning to be the stepson of a criminal, Abel plans to upset the future wedding. But meeting an unlikely stepfather radically changes the protagonist’s boring life, to the point where the laws of the genre begin to bow to the articles of the Criminal Code.
“My Sun” (“After Sun”), dir. Charlotte Wells – March 16
After her parents divorced, Sophie remembers how she went on vacation to Turkey in the ’90s with her father, Calum (for whom she received an Oscar nomination for her breakout role), Calum, whom she rarely saw. Calum adores his daughter and tries to give her unforgettable memories of a joint trip. But when no one is around, it’s revealed that Calum has a big secret he’s been keeping from his daughter and the world. Already an adult, Sophie is slowly collecting her memories of her father: from a history in the home archive and a personal memory that so often deceives us over the years.
My Sunshine is Charlotte Wells’ directorial debut. The plot is based on her personal relationship with her father, but the story itself goes far beyond the eternal plot about fathers and children. This is an absolutely beautiful movie about people and how they can give us incredible love and great pain at the same time.

Lost Girls Island is an excellent family movie made by the same family. Behind the camera are directors Anne-Marie and Brian Schmidt, with their own daughter in the frame. Despite adult authorship, the story is told and illustrated through the eyes of children: how dangerous and delightful the world can sometimes seem for a pure and naive look.
“John Wick 4” (“John Wick: Episode 4”), director. Chad Stahelski – March 23
