Canvases by Spanish artists from the State Hermitage collection will be shown to residents of the Urals this fall. The exhibition project will be presented at the Hermitage-Ural cultural and educational center in Yekaterinburg. About TASS Said Ilya Markov, head of the city administration’s cultural department.

Among other paintings, visitors can see masterpieces by Spanish masters Francisco Goya and Diego Velasquez. In addition, the Ural Center currently hosts the exhibition “Russian Portrait of the 19th century – early 20th century”, which presents the works of 29 artists from the collection of the State Hermitage. In the exhibition dedicated to the evolution of the portrait genre over 100 years since 1812, you can see paintings by Karl Bryullov, Vasily Perov, Ivan Kramskoy, Nikolai Ge, Boris Kustodiev and other authors.
