Singer Pink first talked about how she nearly got into a fight with singer Christa Aguilera on the set of the video for their song “Lady Marmalade,” according to Variety.
The song became one of the biggest hits of 2001 and was featured on the soundtrack of the musical Moulin Rouge starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. The composition was performed by four artists: Pink, Christina Aguilera, rapper Lil Kim, and soul singer Mia.
According to Pink, he had a good working relationship with everyone but Aguilera. The artist stated that he and Christina did not get along as characters, and the reason for the argument on the set was the chair.
“She was so angry that I was sitting in her seat. At one point she even started threatening me saying she’d throw them at me at the first opportunity. At first I didn’t realize it was her chair, but after she started insulting me, I went in principle. You can’t talk to me like that,” Pink recalls.
The singer noted that at the end of her story, they managed to reconcile with Aguilera over time and left their past grievances in the past.
