Dmitry Nazarov mocks his expulsion from the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater

Actor Dmitry Nazarov published a poem on social networks about his expulsion from the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater. In it, the star of the series “Kitchen” joked that Ivan Okhlobystin would replace him in theater and cinema, and Vladimir Mashkov would replace actress Leah Akhedzhakova.

“And you can cleanly rearrange faces, // Eliminate traitors, mediocre idiots. // Nazarov will be replaced by Okhlobystin, // Akhedzhakov will be replaced by the talented Mashkov,” said Nazarov.

The actor is now in Israel with his wife Olga Vasilyeva. In mid-January, Nazarov was fired from the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre.

In February, the Sovremennik Theater removed the performance with Leah Akhedzhakova from the repertoire. The actor has been working in the theater since 1977. Like Nazarov, Akhedzhakova opposed Russia’s special operation in Ukraine.
