People’s Artist of Russia Igor Nikolaev dedicated the song “Never” to his friend, composer Viktor Reznikov, who died in an accident on February 25, 1992. On her Instagram page (Meta’s owner was recognized as an extremist and banned in Russia), the singer said that the composition is available on all digital platforms.

The artist also released a short lyric video and wrote that the author of the song’s music is Reznikov, and the poet Tatyana Kalinina wrote poetry.

“For you, a romantic lyric video for this song, which I recorded for the anniversary concert of my wonderful composer and youth friend Viktor Reznikov,” wrote Nikolaev.

Reznikov became famous with the song “Fly away, cloud” performed by Alla Pugacheva in 1979. Larisa Dolina, Valery Leontiev, Irina Otieva, VIA Pesnyary, Lyudmila Senchina, Lev Leshchenko, Sofia Rotaru, the Secret beat quartet and other artists also performed their compositions.
