Ishana Shyamalan, the 22-year-old daughter of The Sixth Sense and Split director M. Night Shyamalan, is making her directorial debut, Variety reported.

The star heiress will film the horror novel “The Watchers” by Irish author AM Schein.

At the center of the story is 28-year-old artist Mina, who got lost in the woods. Taking shelter in a forest hut, the girl is trapped. With him, three strangers hide in the hut, which is watched every night by terrible creatures.

The film will be produced by Ishana M. Night Shyamalan’s father. The world premiere of the film is scheduled for June 7, 2024.

Before her feature directorial debut, Ishana had time to try her luck on television. As a director and screenwriter, he worked on the fourth season of his father’s mystical series House with Servants, which aired on the Apple TV+ streaming service.

Ishana Shyamalan was also her father’s assistant on the set of her new movie Knock the Door.
