In the Moscow estate of Fyodor Chaliapin, St. Objects from his apartment in St. Petersburg will be shown. An exhibition was opened in the capital to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of the opera genius. OTR.
Dishes, furniture, personal belongings, paintings by Vasnetsov, Vrubel, Kustodiev were brought to the house on Novinsky Avenue, where Chaliapin and his family lived for 22 years: in total about 260 exhibits. There are also unique ones: for example, a sculpture by the artist himself of the second common-law wife of the singer Maria Petzold and fragments of her bedroom.
