Warner Bros. representative denied the broadcast weekly fun Rumors that the sequel to “Constantine” starring Keanu Reeves has been cancelled. They emerged after director James Gunn took over DC Studious and announced plans to remake the MCU.

Warner Bros. Konstantin did not share details about 2, as work on the project is at an early stage. It has been learned that in 2022, along with Reeves, director Francis Lawrence, who directed the first film adaptation, will return to work.

Last November, Lawrence said he wanted to make the sequel more violent, scary, and sexualized. The director believes that the first film was not exactly very good due to its youth rating. Now Lawrence plans to insist on version 18+.
