A documentary trilogy about the Kuriles and extreme sports in Kamchatka has been released in Premier online cinema, the streaming press service reported.
The main protagonists of the project were people who accepted the challenge of harsh nature and discovered new facets of extreme sports. The first film of the trilogy “Kuriles. On the South Shores” is about Russian waterboarder Nikita Martyanov, who became the first person in his sport to overcome the extreme conditions that made water skiing nearly impossible.
The hero of the movie “Wave 41” is Anton Morozov, the founder of the Kamchatka surfing movement, who, together with director Mikhail Moroz, made an extraordinary journey, conquering the ocean ice waves.
The latest film “Snowboarding History of Kamchatka” tells about self-taught enthusiasts who conquered the slopes of volcanoes and made the whole world talk about themselves.
The trilogy of documentary projects was directed by Mikhail Moroz and Stanislav Kraynik. The project was made by Dmitry Litvinov and Maxim Balakhovsky.
