Three months after James Gunn and Peter Safran officially began running DC Studios as part of Warner Bros. Discovery Announces First Movies and Series In The Co-Presidents Reboot MCU, writes Variation.
Superman: Legacy, written by Gunn, will be released on July 11, 2025. Based on the “Officials” comic, the project will be a sequel to “Legacy” and will showcase new superheroes.
Gunn has announced another comic book adaptation of The Brave and the Bold (formerly based on the Batman: The Brave and the Bold comic book series). The movie will feature a new Batman and his son. Films in the new phase include Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow and Swamp Thing.
Series to be released in DC’s new phase include Monster Commandos, Waller, Booster Gold, Lanterns, and Paradise Lost.
