It was noted that the authorities closed all cultural and sports facilities for the winter due to the high heating prices. The actors of the theater agreed with Pick company, which produces salami, to rehearse at the factory.
“For us, it’s an expense but not a burden: we’re delighted to have the support of our National Theatre,” said Pick CFO Karol Felfeldi.
According to Laszlo Barnaku, director of the National Theater in Szeged, the current conditions have made the theater artists more determined: “In moments like these, our togetherness, our creative potential becomes stronger. We want to go on stage and greet the audience more.”
