Director Andrei Konchalovsky, answering a question about the sanctions imposed on him by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, said that what is happening in Ukraine is sad.

“I have not formed any opinion on this subject except what I have said before: I am watching with compassion the tragic events in beloved Ukraine,” he told RIA Novosti.
