Petersburg will take place the concerts “Elena for your soul”, dedicated to the memory of People’s Artist of the USSR Elena Obraztsova. It has been reported TASS.
Events will be held on January 11 at the Rotunda of the Mariinsky Palace and on January 12 at the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center. The 5th International Music Festival “Voice to Elena Obraztsova” will also open. Young singers and musicians will take the stage in the unforgettable night. Chamber works of Russian and foreign composers were included in the concert program.
“This evening will be a tribute and affection for one of the most outstanding singers in the history of Russian vocal art,” said the press service of the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center.
Elena Obraztsova died on January 12, 2015 at the age of 75. The cause of death was a malignant tumor.
