The publication says that the Museo Ruso branch of the Russian Museum in Malaga is on the verge of closing as it was decided in May 2022 to return its entire collection to Russia. According to the director of the Museo Ruso, due to the conflict in Ukraine, St. Interaction with the main museum in St. Petersburg has become impossible, and the only way for the museum to survive is to display private collections.
The museum was assisted by British Jenny Green, who has been collecting Russian art for 20 years, according to The Guardian. The museum will exhibit 76 works by Russian painters, including paintings by Ivan Aivazovsky, Ilya Repin, Valentin Serov, Wassily Kandinsky and other Russian painters.
