Seriously ill Danish director Lars von Trier (“Dancing in the Dark”, “Nymphomaniac”) in an interview with Italian newspaper Corriere said about your new project.
Von Trier, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, says he has built a “database” of his experiences in the film industry. “The idea is that anyone who is into or wants to make movies can apply to this base. I was very lucky: I was able to do what I wanted, when I wanted. I consider it my duty to share my experiences.”
He emphasized that he will continue to make movies because that’s all he knows how to do. “At this point in my life, I am painfully lonely. I have always believed that loneliness is a strength, but I have to admit how painful it can be,” the cinematographer complained.
