Polish journalist onet Natalia Gomulka said it was “distasteful” for Russian tourists to vacation at luxury resorts in Egypt. She admitted she had “goosebumps” when she saw a smiling Russian lying on a chaise lounge with her smartphone. She also “felt tremendous disgust” when she saw only Russian on the restaurant menu.

“There was not a word of English. I lost my appetite. Unfortunately, there were many such situations. “It was clear that everything here was designed for Russian tourists,” said Gomulka.

Then the journalist decided to talk to the Russian couple and asked about the partial mobilization and the “escape” from the country. According to her, the man “boiled” and said that he had come to rest. When Gomułka spoke of a “Russian woman I know” who daily “shares photos in the midst of protests”, the Russian replied: “Keep believing these lies.”

“After this conversation, I tried to dodge the Russians, but it didn’t always work, even though there were so many,” Gomulka wrote.
