Henry Golding has joined the cast of the film adaptation of Lily Rabe and Hamish Linklater’s directorial debut, Chuck Klosterman’s Owl in the City Center. writes about him Hollywood reporter.

The movie is currently being shot in Minnesota. It will be released under the Sony Stage 6 Films label. Golding will appear onscreen alongside Ed Harris, Vanessa Hudgens, Finn Wittrock, Jack Dylan Grazer and August Blanco Rosenstein.

Linklater wrote a semi-isolated screenplay from 1980s pop culture, set in the fictional North Dakota town of Owl, from the screenplay based on Klosterman’s New York Times bestseller.

The story follows three residents – an old man who spends his days commemorating at a local cafe, a depressed high school student, and a new English teacher at the local high school. One day, a snowstorm hits the city.
