The chairman of the board noted that the company is currently working on the pilot episode of the series about Cheburashka. Unlike the original with puppet animation, the new version will be animated in 3D. The launch of a full-fledged season will depend on the success of the feature project. Soyuzmultfilm also plans to release a full-length cartoon Prostokvashino.

Previously Soyuzmultfilm will reportedly release a short film based on The Littlest Dwarf.
