The dates of the “Siberian World” International Ethnic Music Festival, which will be held in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, have been announced. It has been reported TASS with reference to the press service of the regional Ministry of Culture.

The festival will be held from 6 to 9 July 2023 in the village of Shushenskoye. Applications from musicians and dancers will begin on January 15th. According to the plans of the organizers in 2023, participants from Central Asian countries and many cities of Russia will come to the festival. The festival program includes concerts, lectures, master classes, mini-performances.

From 2003 to 2012 the ethno-festival was called the Sayan Ring. The festival is included in the national project “Culture” and was organized in 2022 with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation under the auspices of the UNESCO Commission of the Russian Federation. Then it gathered a record number of spectators – 66.5 thousand people.
