Dmitry Kiselev, the director and writer of the film “Peace” and “First Time”, said in an interview with socialbites.ca that in childhood he told friends that his mother worked as an astronaut, but this was not so. . At the same time, he explained that he could not even dream of working in space.
“For some reason, I didn’t even think I was worthy of dreaming about it. But I told everyone the fact that my mother was an astronaut. Although, of course, this is not so, ”confessed Kiselev.
He remembered that when he was eight, his father brought him a poster signed by an astronaut and hung it on Kiselyov’s desk. According to the director, his respect for the astronauts was etched in his mind from then on.
“I did my homework and kept looking at these skies, studying their names, looking into their eyes – and that’s how I spent my school years. I have earned the respect of astronauts who risk their lives in a difficult and dangerous space like space. And it so happened that when the offers to shoot something on the theme of space came, I immediately accepted, ”Kiselev summarized.
