In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, South African and American actress Charlize Theron talked about how Sam Raimi made her decision to accept a cameo in the comic book Doctor Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness, the 28th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“if i can find [за что зацепиться]then I’ll never be a snob, “Oh, does that make me less of an actress?” I was ignorant, not very familiar with these films, until my family, whom I regarded as my foster family, forced me to watch them. They’re crazy Marvel fans and I’ve always made fun of them. “Oh my god, you are ****** cows.” Then we rented a house for the spring break and the kids and I were at the camp and they said, “You have to sit and watch.” So we watched all the movies and I was like, “Oh my god, they’re so cool.” The children also joined them and it was a very nice trip. And there’s a mythology around and [моей героиней] Clay has thought of everything for decades, and for me it’s a challenge. For example, how is it reinvented? So I’m impatient, but to be honest, I generally know what’s going to happen,” Theron said.

The actor appears in the first post-credits scene of Doctor Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness. There, Theron plays the role of Clea, a sorceress from the Dark Dimension who has come to Earth to enlist the hero’s help.

Previously It turns out that Benedict Cumberbatch rewrote scenes from Doctor Strange 2 to make the movie darker.
