Fleetwood Mac singer-songwriter Christine McVie has died at the age of 79. Portal reports TMZ in reference to the testimony of the artist family.
After a short illness, he passed away peacefully in the hospital where he was taken on Wednesday morning, 30 November 2022.
Relatives of the singer stated that the singer passed away among his relatives and asked that the privacy of the family be respected “at this extremely painful time”, “to keep his memory in your heart and to remember the life of an incredible person”. and the respected musician that everyone loves.”
Shortly after announcing his death, Fleetwood Mac released a statement calling him “one-of-a-kind, special and extremely talented” and “the best musician in a band and the best friend alive”. .
McVie was born on July 12, 1943 in Birmingham. She became a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1970 and was also the wife of the band’s bassist, John McVie. He wrote and sang important songs such as “Don’t Stop”, “Little Lies”, “Everywhere”, “Over My Head” and “You Make Love Fun”.
In 1998 McVie was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of Fleetwood Mac.
