British Christine McVievocalist and keyboardist of the rock band Fleetwood MacHe died this Wednesday after suffering “a brief illness”, his family said in a statement.
The artist, who retired in 1998 but rejoined the group in 2014, died “in peace” in the hospital where he was taken this morning, accompanied by his relatives, according to the note he published on his official Facebook page.
Fleetwood Mac colleagues expressed their sadness at the death of McVie, the composer of hits like “Little Lies”, “Everywhere” and “Don’t Stop.”
