British actress Michelle Dockery (“Downton Abbey”, “Gentlemen”) will star in Peaky Blinders writer Stephen Knight’s upcoming drama This Town.

The show will tell the story of four young people passionate about ska music and its variant, 2 Tone, that emerged in Coventry and Birmingham in the late ’70s and early ’80s and brought together young people of diverse ethnic backgrounds.

As stated in the report, the series will be both a suspenseful thriller and a family epic.

“This project is very close to my heart. It is about a period that I also live and know well, and includes characters that I feel grew up with. This is a love letter to Birmingham and Coventry, but I hope people all over the world will appreciate it,” said Knight, quoted by the BBC.

Previously The creators of Stranger Things said they used the ideas for the second season in season five.
