The Central Bank of Russia has extended the ban on charging fees for issuing foreign currency from the accounts of credit institutions and deposits of individuals for six months – until March 9, 2023. Message about it published press service on the editor’s website.
The measure was introduced in March 2022 with a validity period until September 9 of the current year.
In addition, the Central Bank of Russia has extended the ban on charging fees for converting foreign currencies into US dollars and euros until March 9, 2023. Credit institutions should not charge customers a fee if they perform the conversion for the subsequent issuance of funds.
