Khusnullin proposed extension of the M-12 highway to Vladivostok

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin suggested that the M-12 (Moscow-Kazan-Yekaterinburg) road be extended to Vladivostok. He said this to President Vladimir Putin during a report, author agency RIA Novosti.

“After Yekaterinburg, we see that the work to bypass Omsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo has been completed. Blagoveshchensk bypass, Khabarovsk bypass. Well, get this done by widening the road to Vladivostok and the ring road around Vladivostok,” said Khusnullin.

In addition, in the opinion of the Deputy Prime Minister, this route should be connected to the railways and ports in the Far East.
