The head of the press service of the Kaliningrad government said that the regional authorities have found an alternative to the transit transit Lithuanian bank Šiauliai. The bank has ceased operations with Russia in rubles since August 15 and will cease payments in all other currencies from September 1.
“An alternative payment option has been found for Lithuania and many companies are using it,” Lyskov said.

Earlier, Ryabokon reported that Moscow had issued a note to the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs due to the problems that arose with the Lithuanian Siauliai Bank, with which Kaliningrad transit operations were carried out.
Siauliai Bank announced that from September 1, they will cease cooperation with Russia and Belarus, and from August 15, they will not make payments in Russian rubles, regardless of the country of the recipient. In this regard, Moscow sent a corresponding note to the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
