Bermuda partially lifts sanctions on Russia

Bermuda has granted the Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) a license that partially lifts trade sanctions and facilitates the return of aircraft registered in the state from Russia. This has been reportedinterfax.

For flights, two conditions must be met – the flight is made on behalf of the real owners who are not citizens of the Russian Federation, and the aircraft itself flies to any part of the world outside of Russia.

Based on this license, the BCAA will be able to issue individual flight permits to both individuals and legal entities.

Previously, it was reported that some airports in the southern and central parts of the country have a regime of restrictions on flights. ExtendedThe Federal Air Transport Agency said in a statement. Flights to Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista airports are temporarily restricted.

Airlines are advised to use other airports in Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow for passenger transportation. The rest of the airports in Russia are operating normally.
