The preliminary site was chosen for the construction of a new resort on the shore of the Caspian Sea in Dagestan. At the same time, a new resort may appear in the region, due to which the tourist flow has recently increased significantly. At the same time, Rostourism confirmed the work on the topic of creating a new resort.

Market participants proposed to build a complex with hotels on an area of 200 hectares. At the same time, at least 300 billion rubles are needed to implement such an idea. But this will make it possible to create a Sochi analogue in the region where there will be a cluster of mountains and seas.

According to industry experts, investors may be interested in investing in the region in the face of increasing tourist traffic and positive news around Dagestan. In addition, it is natural for the Caspian Sea to develop as a tourist destination, since this region is very underdeveloped in terms of beaches and ships.

At the end of March, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia announcedwill build the first ski resort in the kingdom. The first visitors are expected to be able to relax there in 2030. According to Mohammed bin Salman, the mountain resort will be named Trojena and it will cost around $500 billion to build.
