“Russian farmers achieved a good harvest this year despite very difficult weather conditions. “The situation in livestock and fisheries is stable, and the food and processing industries are working dynamically,” he said.
Patrushev also stated that the demand for some products has increased and, as a result, their prices have increased.
“The government is taking additional measures to improve affordability of goods,” he added.

According to the Central Bank, annual inflation in Russia stood at 8.4 percent as of October 21.
