WSJ: aviation industry giants fear going without Russian titanium amid possible sanctions

Before the coronavirus pandemic, Russia accounted for about one-fifth of the world’s titanium production, according to the US Geological Survey.

It was previously known that the European Union was. blocked proposal to impose sanctions on the world’s largest titanium producer, VSMPO-Avisma.
