Russians without work experience need to take three important steps to successfully find a job. The first stage is the proper preparation of a resume, in which it is important to highlight strengths such as communication skills, learning ability and critical thinking. Olga Bukhvalova, a career expert at the center “Professions of the Future”, told socialbites.ca.
“A resume should be structured, even if you have no experience. State your place of study, training and expertise. If you have an internship or internship, it is useful to briefly describe what you did and what you learned,” Bukhvalova explained.
For example, after practicing on the radio, you can specify preparing news and participating in broadcasts.
The expert also recommended writing a cover letter that emphasizes the candidate’s interest and professional qualities (responsibility and attentiveness).
At the third stage, Bukhvalova suggested preparing for the interview: studying information about the company, collecting feedback and preparing questions for the employer.
“During the interview, it is important to show your confidence, express your thoughts clearly and focus on your strengths,” the expert concluded.
According to experts of SberAnalytics and Rabota.ru service, the average salary in Russia in the first half of 2024 amounted to 82 thousand rubles (+12% per year).
