Kazakhstan is ready to increase the volume of oil supplies to Germany through the Druzhba pipeline. Kazakhstan Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliev told journalists about this issue. TASS.
He said this would largely depend on the demands of the oil refinery in Schwedt, Germany, and how much passage through Russian territory Kazakhstan can provide.
“In general, we are ready to increase these volumes on the Kazakh side; there are suppliers interested in oil supplies in this direction,” Satkaliev said, adding that the issue will be discussed together with all participants.

The supply of Kazakh oil to Rosneft Deutschland GmbH (RDG) started in February 2023, the ministry said. Within the scope of the agreements between Kazakhstan, Germany and Russia, an agreement was reached on the supply of up to 1.2 million tons of oil per year via the Atyrau-Samara oil pipeline through the Druzhba system to the Schwedt refinery.
