Russian Ambassador to Indonesia Sergei Tolchenov said that in winter the number of direct flights from Russia to Bali could increase to five per week. His words guide the way TASS.

The diplomat also noted that in contacts with Indonesian counterparts, they always stated that the issue of launching direct flights between Bali and other Russian cities should be given further consideration.

“The Siberian and Far Eastern regions are located relatively close to Indonesia, and if one of these regions wants to fly to Bali, then it will be a very long detour through Moscow,” Tolchenov said.

Russia and Indonesia restored There were regular direct flights last month. Flights between the two countries were stopped in 2020 due to the pandemic. The first plane on the Moscow-Bali route took off on September 17. Flights are operated by Aeroflot. Currently planes fly three times a week.
