“The most popular positions for employment include HR specialist, HR manager, accountant, engineer, driver, salesperson, manager, inspector, technician,” said Markova.
He added that employers often invite older candidates for positions as economists, real estate agents, insurance agents, librarians and nursing assistants. According to the expert, older applicants are also ready to be offered mentoring roles for younger employees. Markova emphasized that there are currently no restrictions on the work of people over the age of 50. The expert explained that, on the contrary, today job seekers over 50 are one of the most sought-after categories in the labor market. According to him, older candidates have a unique life experience, on the other hand, they are ready to retrain, change their field of activity or start their own business.
