Gas price in Europe rose above $2,300 per thousand cubic meters for the first time since 8 March. This is proven by stock market data. ICE.

The increase in prices per thousand cubic meters occurred against the background of reports of reduced pumping through the Nord Stream gas pipeline. Since the start of the day, the cost of gas has increased by more than 10%.

At the same time, the cost of August futures at the TTF headquarters in the Netherlands rose to $2,307 per thousand cubic meters (220 euros per MWh).

Previously reported About Gazprom’s plans to reduce the gas supply via Nord Stream from July 27 to a level not exceeding 20% ​​of the generating capacity – no more than 33 million cubic meters per day, the planned volume of which is 167 million. The company stops another turbine unit fuel pumps. In this context, the price of gas in Europe increased by more than 12%.
