The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has postponed consultations with Russia on the economic situation. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the executive director of the Russian Federation in the fund, Alexey Mozhin.

He said that the Russian Federation is ready to begin consultations with the IMF on September 16.

Mozhin stressed that the consultations have now been postponed indefinitely and did not give any reasons.
