Aeroflot has begun operating direct flights from Moscow to Denpasar on the Indonesian island of Bali, it was reported on the company’s website.
Flight SU296 from the capital’s Sheremetyevo Airport will depart on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 14:40 Moscow time. The return flight, SU297, departs from Denpasar on Wednesdays and Sundays at 10:05 local time. A third weekly flight will also be added from October 3, departing from Moscow on Thursdays and Denpasar on Fridays.
As the airline announced, Indonesian music was played in the background at the check-in counters for the passengers of the first flight to this destination, and they were also able to smell the recognizable exotic aromas of Bali. Also in honor of the opening of the flights, Aeroflot presented them with small souvenirs and sweets, while the tourist operator Biblio-Globus also gave them memorable gifts.
Let us remind you that regular flights between Russia and Indonesia have resumed for the first time since 2020, when flights were suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
