In accordance with Russian legislation, currently only parents and guardians are entitled to receive monthly payments for the care of disabled children and people with disabilities from childhood of group I. The amount of payment is estimated at 10 thousand rubles. For other persons, 1.2 thousand rubles are paid.
As can be seen from the Russian President’s order, the government should consider amending this payment to everyone, regardless of the relationship with the child.
In addition, the order must provide for the annual indexation of these payments to no less than the inflation rate.
