During the discussion, Menshov also talked about how a modern startup can attract the attention of large businesses.
“First, the startup needs to be extremely mature: it needs to have a mentor with a very deep understanding of how companies work. Second, such a startup needs to think several steps ahead and be proactive. Third, the startup will need to adapt to the reliability, stability and cybersecurity requirements of the product while integrating into the corporate infrastructure, which can affect its further development,” he explained.
The senior vice president believes that if a startup uses the company’s technologies in product development, for example, uses the AI assistant to write the GigaCode code or the GigaChat neural network model, then after a while it can become a promising service for Sber. According to him, the bank selects such startups together with the Sber500 accelerator team.
