VTB will finance new projects for developers in the Far East and other regions of Russia. The bank signed agreements on cooperation in housing construction at the EEF 2024.
As VTB Board Member Ruslan Eremenko emphasized, the support of developers gives an additional impetus to the development of the construction market in the country. According to him, as a result, new jobs are created, many social problems are solved, and people get comfortable and modern housing with developed infrastructure.
In Volgograd, under a new agreement with the DARS group of companies, VTB will provide funds for the development of the Dolina residential complex with houses of different heights and infrastructure facilities. In Khabarovsk, new low-rise development projects are also planned to be implemented with the bank’s participation.
In Krasnoyarsk, financing will be used for the construction of the Progress Neighborhood “Changes” residential area on the city’s right bank. For these purposes, the bank opened a credit line of 19 billion rubles to the specialized developer Constructive Development.
“It is strategically important for VTB to participate in construction sector initiatives that directly affect the quality of life of Russians from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok,” said one of VTB’s board members.
In Vladivostok, with the support of VTB, an energy-efficient residential area will appear in the Green Corner microdistrict. The bank opened a credit line of 4.5 billion rubles to the expert developer Group.
“We constantly support housing renovation projects that improve people’s quality of life in the Far East,” Eremenko said.
Earlier, VTB reported that the availability of financial products and services for the population and businesses has increased by more than a third, or 35%, since the beginning of the year. The bank has expanded its network of offices, increasing its population coverage from 58 million to 69 million. As part of the development of its sales points, VTB has opened a total of 35 branches in 34 cities since the beginning of the year. As part of the integration with Otkritie Bank, a significant strengthening of the VTB network infrastructure for customers is also being carried out. A total of 230 offices will come under the VTB brand by the end of the year, of which more than 180 bank branches in 49 regions have already changed their signage.
