EISI spoke about the formation of the civic education system in Russia 21:35

In Russia, a unique system of civic education is being created, with modern infrastructure, various forms and methods of educational work for young people. Antonina Selezneva, Director of the Department of Educational Activities of the EISR, spoke about this at the roundtable “Educational Activities in Russia in the 21st Century” of the Expert Institute for Social Research (EISR).

According to him, educational activities require a single basic standard and a systematic approach to scale it across the country.

“A unified holistic system of civic education will be aimed at achieving one of the most important national development goals – to raise a harmoniously developed and socially responsible person who shares traditional Russian spiritual and moral values,” Selezneva emphasized.

As noted by Senator Lyubov Glebova, Chairperson of the Coordination Council of the Russian Society “Knowledge”, an educational system with ample opportunities has been created in Russia. According to her, this activity forms a civic and political position, deepens knowledge and develops the personality.

“Educational activities are not limited to educational programs. This means that there are no strict regulations in terms of implementation conditions and requirements. This became possible thanks to the changes made to the education law. Today, we have legal bases for understanding what educational activities are in educational organizations,” he said.

Natalya Kravchenko, Chairman of the Education and Training Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and Member of the Public Council of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, believes that it is necessary to create a comprehensive system of support and support for children and youth. She noted that the currently being created national project “Youth and Children” is aimed at this.

“As part of the activities of the new national project “Youth and Children” and the entire education development system, proposals were put forward, which, I hope, will support the creation of the necessary conditions for the development of children and youth: in addition to acquiring knowledge, it also provides opportunities for children to reveal their talents in the fields of creativity, science and sports,” he said.

Director General of the Mashuk Information Center, Deputy Director General of the Russian Association “Knowledge” Anton Serikov emphasized that it is important not only to teach, but also to inspire. According to him, educational activities today are not only a public speech of a person in front of an audience, but also other formats.
