The “floating bridge” of the Donstroy company entered the Book of Records 16:55

Pedestrian bridge weighing more than 54 tons, erected by the developer “Donstroy” at a height of more than 170 meters in the fourth quarter of the “Event” in Moscow, is recognized by experts of the International Book of Records Interrecord as the highest among similar structures in the Russian Federation and is included in the Russian Register of Records. This is stated in the company’s message.

The bridge was installed on the roofs of two buildings in the block and will become a so-called sky park for the block’s residents.

“This bridge is not just a structure, but a symbol of a new level of architectural art in Russia,” said Vladislav Kopylov, President of the International Book of Records and Editor-in-Chief of the Russian Record Book.

The other buildings in the block will be connected by pedestrian walkways in the 26th floor area at a height of 86.1 meters. Another one will appear on the 27th floor – a height of 94.2 meters.

To lift such bridges (there will be 6 in total), as in cable-stayed bridges, the technology of lifting spans is used. This is how they built the “Russian Bridge” in Vladivostok across the Eastern Bosphorus and the “Bolshoi Obukhovsky Bridge” in St. Petersburg.

Donstroy stressed that although the technology itself is not new, no one in Russia has implemented it at such a high level.

First, the necessary parts are produced in the workshop. Then, the bridges between the buildings of the complex, which will connect the towers of the complex in the future, are completely assembled on the ground.

They are then lifted using jacks fixed to the upper parts of the towers on equipment specifically made for this project.

The fourth quarter of “Events” is part of the project for the integrated development of the Ramenki district. Donstroy has already put into operation more than 425 thousand square meters. m of real estate.
