The Federal Air Transport Agency has issued the first airworthiness certificate for an aircraft-type civil unmanned aerial vehicle. This is what it says TASS Referring to the Ministry’s press release.
“On August 21, for the first time in Russia, such a document for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with vertical take-off and landing capability of the OG-003 type was received by the developer of the machine, BAS Glory Air company. In the message, the drone was assigned the registration number RA-271EP.
The Federal Air Transport Agency noted that this UAV can carry up to 20 kg of cargo, and its maximum flight range is up to 300 km.
The Federal Air Transport Agency issued two more airworthiness certificates for multi-rotor agricultural drones late last year.
Also on Rosaviatsia commented information about the risks of jet fuel shortage. The press service noted that the ministry did not receive information from airlines about the increase in kerosene prices. However, they added that in the event of such signals, the Federal Air Transport Agency will additionally monitor the situation with the supply of aviation fuel to air transport enterprises.
