More than a third (36 percent) of the plane tickets purchased by Russians for September were to foreign destinations. These statistics were provided by the press service of Aviasales service at the request of socialbites.ca. Tourists planned the most flights to Turkey.

In September, 8% of flight bookings were made from Antalya. Travelers will spend an average of 10 days there, and 12% will go with children.

Round-trip ticket price per passenger to Antalya in September:
*From Moscow – from 26,340 rubles;
*St. from St. Petersburg – from 33,500 rubles;
*From Yekaterinburg – from 29,590 rubles.

Another 7% of bookings came from Istanbul. On average, tourists will stay for a week on holiday and the share of family travelers was 4%.

*From Moscow – from 24,930 rubles;
*St. from St. Petersburg – from 34,100 rubles;
*From Yekaterinburg – from 33,500 rubles.

The same number of Russians will go to Yerevan (Armenia) – 7%, the share of tickets with children was 5%. The average travel time is a week.

Round-trip airfare to Yerevan per passenger:
*From Moscow – from 21,080 rubles;
*St. from St. Petersburg – from 27,760 rubles;
*From Yekaterinburg – from 20,750 rubles.

5% of all tickets purchased were for Tashkent (Uzbekistan) and Almaty (Kazakhstan). Travelers will spend an average of 10 days in Tashkent. The share of family travelers was 4%. Tourists will spend about a week in Almaty; tickets with children account for 2% of bookings.

4% of all foreign airline tickets for September were purchased from Baku (Azerbaijan), where Russians will spend an average of a week. The share of those traveling with families was 5%.
