The brand club of the national award “Brand of the Year Russia 2024” gathered the participants of the competition at the “Start Hub” site in the capital’s Red October. Representatives of the companies competing for the award had the opportunity to get to know each other, establish business contacts and get acquainted with new nominations for the competition. The organizers of the event reported this.
Executive Director of the “Brand of the Year in Russia 2024” award Olga Markelova introduced the award team to the participants of the second qualifying stage, spoke about the new nominees of the competition, developed jointly with the strategic industrial partners – the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (AKAR) and the Association of Brand Companies of Russia (ABKR).
He noted that the Brand Club, established by the award organisers, attracted the attention of the competition participants and was also supported by the expert jury members.
“The club’s meetings have become regular and we are pleased to see how all guests of these events benefit from networking. It is particularly important that the club becomes a tool for supporting local companies and that business connections are established here that will contribute to the development of brands,” he said.
The chairman of the organizing committee of the award, vice-president of the Russian Academy of Public Relations Sergei Trofimenko and the chairman of the highest advisory council of the award Vitaly Rasnitsyn spoke about the importance of creating goods and services in the field of import substitution.
Gulnara Paunezheva, head of the award’s press center, noted that Russian brands need to implement new channels of communication with their consumers in order to reach wider audiences.
Anastasia Sidorina, Director of Client Relations at the Romir research holding, presented a study on “Key market trends through the eyes of the buyer.”
The competition is ongoing, applications are being accepted for the third round of elimination. The winners will be announced in November.
