Working time in Ukraine may be included in the retirement experience of Russian citizens 19:37

The Government of the Russian Federation submitted to the State Duma a bill, according to which the period of work in Ukraine from 1991 until the start of the special military operation (SVO) will be included in the insurance experience for calculating pensions of Russian citizens. . The corresponding document is published in the Duma electronic database.

According to the draft law, this period of service will cover work and other activities performed in Ukraine from January 1, 1991 to February 23, 2022, in the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) from May 11, 2014 to September 29, 2022, in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions – from February 24 to September 29, 2022.

Attempt will affect Ukrainians, DPR and LPR, as well as Russians who worked in these two regions, but did not have a permanent residence permit in the territory of the new regions of the Russian Federation during this period. According to the justification of the bill, this measure will increase the average pension of such citizens.

Thus, in 2024 the average size of the insurance pension will increase by 2,385 rubles. In 2025, the payment amount will increase by 2,524 rubles, and in 2026 – by 2,686 rubles.

July 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed The law will increase military pensions by 5.1% from October 1, 2024. The implementation of the law document will be carried out at the expense of budget appropriations.
